Bio

After studying Italian Language and Literature at the University of Sofia in Bulgaria, I spent several years working as an interpreter and translator before moving to Florence, where I lived for five years surrounded by Renaissance beauty and endless visual inspiration.
Then, ready for a new adventure, I took a leap of faith and moved to London, a city I'd never visited, whose language I hadn't even studied (French and Russian were my school languages). It turned out to be one of the best decisions I've ever made. London became home, and more than that, it reignited a creative spark I thought I'd lost for good.
As a child I drew constantly, but somewhere in my teenage years I gave it up, frustrated by what I saw as a lack of my own distinctive style and voice. Decades later, and after not touching a pencil for longer than I care to admit, I found my way back through a creative exploration that started with layered papercut portraits. That process gave birth to my Blue Boys series — and those scarlet lips made their very first appearance.
My work continues to evolve across different media, but colour, playfulness, and a touch of whimsy remain at its core. I create intuitively, with the hope of sparking curiosity, amusement, and joy. What you see is what you see - no hidden messages to be found!
